Joe FosterJoe Foster has...

been in the commercial real estate business since 1962. During that period he has been a mortgage banker, financing all types of commerical and residential real estate, and a real estate broker, intially with the Henry S. Miller Company, where he directed the investment property group and supervised the sale of land and multi-family and commercial property. In 1974, he founded Joe Foster Company, which has been involved in:

  • Property management of several million square feet of office buildings, shopping centers, apartments and commercial properties.
  • Brokerage services provided by a highly qualified and experienced production group, included four Stemmons Service Award winners.
  • A full range of transactions including ground leases, sales, project and tenant-rep leasing, multiple property trades, syndications, build-to-suit assignments, and land assemblage.
  • The formation and management of over 85 investment partnerships with financial partners.
  • Extensive appraisal, counseling and advisory services that include assignments in 44 states on behalf of clients throughout the United States.

In addition to being the company's chief executive, Joe Foster has personally been very active as a principal/investor and his involvement has included the acquisition, remodel/rehab, and re-leasing of over 125 warehouses, apartments, office buildings, shopping centers, and land through investment partnerships and other ownership entities. In addition, he has been responsible for the financing, construction, and development of five new properties that range from a 40,000 square foot warehouse in Las Colinas to a 200,000 square foot, 8-story office building in Dallas.

Joe Foster has developed extensive contacts in the real estate community through active involvement in The Appraisal Institute (MAI), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), the Institute of Real Estate Management through while he earned a CPM designation, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and has served as president of the local chapter and national director of the last three organizations. In addition, he is also a past council chairman of ULI.

In 2002 he was inducted into the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors' Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the real estate industry.

As a long time resident of the city of Dallas, Joe Foster has also been a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, The Real Estate Council of Dallas, a Life Member of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and has been active in a number of other business and civic organizations in the city.

Principal of Foster-Harbour, Inc., specializes in the formation and management of land investment partnerships and currently manages for Foster-Harbour and his own account, over $30 million in land assests. Harbour has raised capital for the formation of approximately 50 joint ventures and limited partnerships to acquire major tracts of land in the Metroplex for investment and/or development.

Harbour, who holds the CCIM designation, has participated in the sale of real estate valued at more than $400 million since he began his real estate career some 40 years ago. In the late 1980ís, he also brokered more than $200 million in tax-loss related transactions to Canadian purchasers.

Prior achievements include positions as Senior Marketing Consultant and Head of the Dallas Land Division for Grubb & Ellis from 1984 to 1996, Co-Chairman of the National Land Council of Grubb & Ellis, Charter Member of the Chairmanís Council of Henry S. Miller Company, and the 1984 recipient of the Henry S. Miller Sr. Award for outstanding professional and community service, and a past President of the North Texas Land Council.

Harrell 'Buddy' HaydenHarrell "Buddy" Hayden ...

As a Principal of Foster-Hayden Realty advisors for over 15 years, Hayden has been active in all aspects of commercial real estate consulting with a specialty in industrial and income properties.

He has served as the managing partner or trustee for numerous investment and development partnerships and was named Dallas Realtor of the Year in 1982, receiving the Easterwood Cup, the predecessor to the Stemmons Service Award. He is a former National President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and a past President of the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors.

Frank ColeFrank Cole, a partner in Foster-Cole, LLC,

began a real estate career in 1978 and has served as a commerical mortgage banker, a traditional banker and in the mortgage business and with other financial institutions serving as an executive officer and credit committee member. Later he was a principal in a commerical real estate services company serving as CFO of the parent company and president of its property management subsidiary. The asset management company managed and liquidated 200 million in assets. He has been a real estate lender, developer, manager, and consultant, licensed real estate broker in Texas, Maryland, and Washington D.C. as well as a Series 7 securities broker. He has been a Scoutmaster, a scuba instructor for the YMCA, and a leader in the Indian Guides program.
